Greetings, Everyone:
Today is the final day in the DECEIVED Blog Tour. It’s been a long (and, to be honest, exhausting) fortnight. I never knew releasing a book required so much energy and mental acuity. I have survived, my characters have survived, and these bloggers have survived.
Being unafraid to stand up and speak out for what’s right and what’s True, no matter who stands with or against you, has always been important to me. From that grew what is, perhaps, the most integral aspect and theme of DECEIVED. It is the driving force behind all three books: no matter what, even if you stand alone, always stand for Truth. No mortal army can silence God’s Word.
On a different note, there are nine things which I wish to address:
First, I’ve seen some ship names floating about, so let me introduce the official ship titles: Rovelle and Tholder.
Second, thank you to the wonderful bloggers who have participated in this tour. It would not have happened without you.
Third, my immense gratitude to everyone who has been so supportive over DECEIVED. This book has taken me on a roller coaster of a journey, from a rejection, to thinking it would never be published, to today (thanks, Mom, for pushing me to do this β€ ). You truly cannot publish a book on your lonesome.
Fourth, since I am a permanently fatigued pigeon who currently and simultaneously resides in four different worlds, I’ve projected two differing dates regarding the giveaway: May 7th (today) and May 10th (Tuesday). I am extending it to May 10th due to the error.
Fifth, do be sure to sign up for the giveaway! Or, if you’ve pre-ordered this story with its four minions of mayhem, be sure to fill out the pre-order swag form. Both links are below.
Sixth, I encourage you to visit the tour stops. These ladies have been a blessing, and I’ve appreciated the opportunities they’ve presented for DECEIVED.
Seventh, if you’ve read DECEIVED, let me know who your favorite character is! For those who have been keeping up with the Q&As and author interviews, you already know mine is Rogan. Yes, authors have their favorite characters. And/or tell me your favorite scene!
Eighth, stay tuned via this blog and my newsletter for more updates regarding giveaway opportunities, releases (a non-magical fairy tale retelling novella is in the works right now, projected to be published by the end of May/early June), and more.
Ninth, any questions about the characters? The book? The tour in general?
Thank you for stopping by and following DECEIVED on it’s blog tour adventure. I hope this book will touch lives and that you will be emboldened to stand for Truth after reading it.
Stay strong, stay steadfast.
Sincerely,
Madisyn (a.k.a the sleep-deprived author)

Thanks! It did take a lot of brain power. Figuring out the schedule felt like doing an algebraic math problem. And I’m terrible at math. And math hates me. Thank *you* so much for all your assistance and enthusiasm! I hope you enjoy “DECEIVED”!

Come now, Tholder AND Rovelle forever. My poor baby boy is being forgotten. π
Madi, your book is such a blessing. You are such a blessings. I am so immensely grateful God gave you the ability to write so well and the drive to publish (and the others who helped). NOW, onto how you shave treated your four minions of mayhem. π€ They all need brand new lives and a HUGE booster in their physical and mental states, not to mention emotional and spiritual. *Yanks down tailgate on dumptruck.* Ahem, this is a might late, but I have procured all of their favorite beverages to help with the terrible forlorn lives they must deal with. If you ask really politely and promise to keep them alive through the next book (which NEEDS to be published by November *stern look*) I will dig out YOUR favorite drink to have with your deprived children. Maybe you’ll have some chat time and get enough inspiration to write the whole thing in one night!

Girlie, your favorite boy is the overall favorite; I doubt he could be forgotten. And Rovelle *might* happen…if they don’t kill each other first.
Aw, K.. Totally not tearing up. Needed that today. β€ (And you helped in the process; don't forget that. You're mentioned twice in the acknowledgments).
Oh, dear. And here I thought you were being all kind and sweet, but you were just hoping to catch me unawares so you could unload your irritation about poor Holder's life being in perpetual danger. Their favorite beverages are much appreciated, especially where they are right now in BETRAYED.
By November? Ah, no. No, no, no. Three years went into DECEIVED. I need at least one for BETRAYED. XD Write 65,000 words in one night? I don't even want to know how many words a minute that would be.

Rovelle needs to happen, for the good of them both.
Every bit of it is true. Thanks so much for working so hard on this. (It is? *Peers under non-existent glasses at the screen.*)
I’m nice ALL of the time, until I’m not. Take what you can get. I’m glad they’ll enjoy the drinks and you’ll make sure they get them. Like you said, they need them.
Well, say if you started at nine and worked until six it would be 135 words a minute. Not THAT much. You could totally do it. π

You’re mentioned twice in the book, silly.
All the time ’til you’re not. Understood. That and plenty of hugs and soup from Kenny’s.
135 words a minute. That’s not at all obtainable or sustainable. Your confidence is touching, but I believe I shall pass.

Eh, it was worth a try. Now if I combined all of your hours from now till November…yup. You’re totally getting it done by then.

Congrats on the release of your book, Madisyn! I’m a bit behind on the tour (story of my life lol), but I’m eager to finish reading all the posts π
Also, I must now use the term ‘fatigued pigeon’ in the near future XD

Thank you! Hope you enjoy it! Ah, yes. “Fatigued pigeon”. That is indeed what I am with the dark eye circles of a racoon. XD
