ABOUT MADISYN CARLIN (also known as myself):
Madisyn Carlin is a Christian, homeschool graduate, voracious bookdragon, and author. When not spending time with family and trekking through the mountains, she weaves tales of redemption, faith, and action.
WHAT I WRITE:
I primarily write fantasy, though I do have some science fiction and historical romance ideas in the deep, dark recesses of my brain. My books are unashamedly Christian, and all have the common themes of redemption, faith, and action. There is no profanity, nothing sexual, and no excessive gore. I approach everything from an Evangelical Protestant point of view. Eventually, my pre-millenial view may emerge when I write science fiction.
WHAT DOES A STREET TEAM DO?
A street team does many things, among which are helping the author promote books and book news, being ARC readers and leaving reviews at the appointed times, and participating in blog tours.
REQUIREMENTS FOR BEING A CONQUEROR:
- Being a Christian and holding the values taught by the Bible (e.g., Christ was both God and man, born of a virgin, and was the atoning sacrifice; the literal six-day creation; the necessity of repentance and salvation; etc.).
- Enjoying Christian speculative fiction and historical romance.
- Being willing to participate in blog tours and spreading the word. Time is scarce, and I understand family and life take priority. However, it would be preferred if you could participate in at least two-thirds of events (and there won’t be that many).
- Being willing to put up with a slightly crazy, sleep-deprived author who may or may not evilly cackle as she prepares to torture characters.
