Conclusion:

Suspense is not my favorite genre – I have nothing against it, it’s just not my favorite. The Glass Bottom Boat reminded me why I should read suspense more often. The characters are so well-wrought that you feel their emotions and sympathize with their struggles as if they were your own. The faith element is well-written – strong, but seamlessly weaved into the plot. Do yourself a favor and add The Glass Bottom Boat to your reading list. It’s a book you’ll want to read again.
